For teens
How do I get started?
Just join the waitlist! Once we launch, you’ll be able to create a profile, choose what services you offer, and start connecting with people in your area.
What kind of jobs can I do?
Anything you’re good at — yard work, tutoring, tech help, babysitting, pet sitting, and more. You choose what you offer.
Do I need to be 18 to sign up?
Nope! Jibly is built for teens (13-19). You just need to follow local rules and get a parent’s support if required (we’ll guide you through it).
What if I’m nervous about meeting new people?
That’s totally normal. We encourage clear communication up front, and you can always bring a parent with you for in-person jobs if needed.
Does it cost anything to use jibly?
Nope — it’s free to join. Jibly only takes a small, fair cut from each payment you receive, so you don’t pay anything unless you’re making money.
How do I get paid?
All payments go through Jibly’s platform, so everything stays safe, verified, and trackable. Clients pay securely, and you get paid out once the job is complete. No off-platform payments allowed — that way everyone stays protected.
For clients
How do I find help on jibly?
Once we launch, you’ll be able to browse teen helpers in your area based on the service you need — like yard work, tech support, tutoring, and more. You can view their profiles, ratings, and availability, then send a request directly through the platform.
Who are the teens on jibly?
Jibly is built for motivated teens who want to offer real value to their communities. Every teen has a profile with service info, past reviews, and availability, so you can find someone who fits your needs.
How do I pay for a job?
All payments are processed safely through the Jibly platform. This keeps everything secure, trackable, and fair — and it ensures your teen helper gets paid only after the job is complete.
Do I have to pay to use jibly?
Creating an account is free. You only pay for the services you book — no subscriptions, no hidden fees. Jibly takes a small cut from the teen’s side, not yours.
Is it safe to hire a teen for help?
We take safety seriously. Teens control what jobs they accept, and we encourage open communication and transparency. You’ll be able to view each teen’s profile, badges, and rating before hiring. For local jobs, we recommend being present during the first visit if possible.
Can I hire someone for recurring help?
Absolutely. Once you find a teen you like working with, you can request them again directly through their profile. Long-term or recurring help is welcomed on the platform.
What if something goes wrong during a job?
If there’s ever an issue, you can report it directly through the platform. We’ll step in to help resolve things fairly. Because payments are run through Jibly, we can verify what happened and support both sides if needed.
Safety and trust
Is jibly safe to use?
Yes — safety is a top priority. All users are required to create a verified account before they can book or offer services. Teens choose which jobs to accept, and clients can view profile info, ratings, and badges before hiring.
What if someone makes me uncomfortable?
If anything ever feels off, you can decline the job, report the user, or block them through the platform. We encourage clear communication and full control — no one is ever required to accept a job they don’t feel good about.
Can parents get involved?
Definitely. We encourage teens under 18 to involve a parent or guardian, especially for in-person work. Teens can also bring a parent along for a job if it makes them feel more secure.
Are users background checked?
Not at this time, but every user must verify their identity with a valid phone number and email before using the platform. We’re building a system where trust is earned through real reviews, ratings, and consistent service — and we closely monitor all activity for safety concerns. As the platform grows, stronger verification options will be introduced.
Can I trust someone I hire or work for?
You’ll be able to view a user’s profile, job history, ratings, and badges. If anything ever seems suspicious, you’re free to walk away. Both teens and clients should feel fully comfortable before moving forward with a job.
Do I have to meet in person?
Nope — some services can be handled online (like tutoring or tech help). For in-person jobs, we recommend meeting in a public place for the first time and involving a parent or trusted adult when needed.
